Every Sunday in the Church hall, Campbelltown Anglican Church at 6pm!
Sunday at Six is a Church – a community of people who are serious about living their lives to please God. We seek to be Christ-centered and Bible focused, and we aim to please God by following Jesus his way, and by loving one another. We try to live out God’s words to us from the Bible:
Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe
yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and
patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive, as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwelling you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father
through him. (Colossians 3:12-17)
As its name “Sunday at Six” suggests, we meet each Sunday evening at 6pm in the hall at Campbelltown Anglican Church, to sing praise to God, hear God speak to us from the Bible, and to encourage one another to live Christ-centered lives.
We also enjoy great food after the meeting! The church service itself is relaxed and contemporary, aimed at both the young and the “young at heart”.
We draw upon the strengths of the Anglican tradition – including focus on the Bible, the cross of Jesus and on prayer and confession – while at the same time maintaining a truly 21st-century focus.
